The main
traffic route into ISP and University is the NH47 from Ernakulam (Cochin, Kochi)
which is
passing through Alwaye. As you approach South Kalamassery on the NH47 from
Ernakulam (Alwaye), follow the University sign to the right (left) at the
traffic lights. The
International School of Photonics is just 1.5 km from here. After entering the
University campus, exit from the main way at third turn to the left, to your
left you can see the International School of Photonics Building. Click

The local bus service provide a convenient way of moving between the University
and the city (Ernakulam and Alwaye). If you are traveling by one of these buses, you have to get down
at "South Kalamassery Bus Stop". From there you can either walk (15
minutes) to the campus or take a three wheeler (around 15 rupees).
By Train
Cochin is well
connected to all main destinations in India by a very good train network. If you
are coming from south, you have to get down at one of the two stations
(Ernakulam Junction (South) or Ernakulam North). You will need a taxi (around
175 rupees) or a bus (around 5 rupees) to reach the campus. The nearest bus stop
to the Ernakulam Junction railway station is "Jos Junction". This stop
is just in front of the Avenue Regent Hotel in Mahatma Gandhi (MG) road. If you
are getting down at Ernakulam North railway station, then the nearest bus stop
is "North" which is in front of the Reserve Bank of India building in
Shanmugham road. From Ernakulam, you always have to take a bus to Alwaye and get
down at "South Kalamassery" bus
stop.
If you are coming from north, you can either get down at Alwaye Railway Station
or one of the stations at Ernakulam. From Alwaye also you need a taxi (around
175 rupees) or bus (around 5 rupees) to reach the campus. From Alwaye you always
have to take a bus to Ernakulam and get down at "South Kalamassery"

By Air
Cochin International Airport is just 20 km from the campus. Number of
carriers are operating from here to domestic and international destinations. You
will need a taxi to reach the campus from the airport. Prepaid taxi (around 200
rupees) is available, you have to contact the the prepaid taxi desk at the
